Subsidy for Group Housing Society/ Resident Welfare Association (GHS/RWA) –
Rs. 18,000 per kW for common facilities, including EV charging, up to 500 kW capacity (@3 kW per house) with the upper limit being inclusive of individual rooftop plants installed by individual residents in the GHS/RWA.
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana – How to get a subsidy
1. First of all you have to register on the portal, for which select your state and electricity distribution company. After this, your Electricity consumer number, mobile number, and email will have to be entered.
2. In the second step, log in with your consumer number and mobile number and apply for rooftop solar as per the form.
3. In the third step, when you get Feasibility Approval, then get the plant installed from any registered vendor.
4. On completion of installation, submit plant details and apply for a net meter.
5. In the next step, after the installation of the net meter and verification by DISCOM, a commissioning certificate will be generated from the portal.
6. In the last step, when you get the commissioning report, submit the bank account details and a canceled check through the portal. You will get the subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.
